
Although I really enjoyed the illustrations in this book, one page did not impress me very much. No detail was spared while illustrating Sleepytime Me and it is very obvious when analyzing each page. Christopher Denise did not leave anything out of his illustrations for this book, which made them very realistic while still being animations.

It was obvious that the illustrations took time due to the amount of trees in some illustrations, and the wallpaper that is seen inside the house. There was also a great deal of detail in the pictures.

I also thought the shadows and reflections in windows were very thought out and executed greatly. It made the reader think of a calm, peaceful night making it a great bedtime story. The illustrations set the mood very well for the book. I also liked the auras that surrounded all of the lights and stars.
